April Ordaz is a California native that has called Colorado home for the past seven years. She is a recent graduate of the Massage Therapy program at IntelliTec College in Grand Junction and is excited to join the highly experienced team at Healing Horizons! As a young adult she followed her passion for nature and worked with the U.S. Forest Service to maintain hiking trails in the mountains of Northern CA. She went on to travel to Hawaii and Alaska maintaining trails and held a variety of gardening and farming jobs. It was within this time that the seeds for massage were planted, as the beneficial effects of massage on a tired body were sought out.

April loves to help people feel cared for and promote healing through relaxation and therapeutic touch. She is looking forward to the journey of learning through the variety of needs each client presents and is currently offering Swedish and Deep Tissue massage.

 

April loves to explore in nature with her dog and spend quality time with friends and family. She is learning to play the guitar and continues to enjoy the therapeutic benefits of gardening.
